This would mark the 1st trip to this country and it was a mind-blowing experience. If I would have to describe Iceland in 3 words: mystical, monumental, unpredictable. The weather conditions we experienced were already an early sign of the rough Icelandic autumns and the lesson learned was that ‘plans are useless, but planning is essential’.
